The CAMP (Computational, Applied Mathematics and PDE) Seminar meets regularly in the math department of the University of Chicago.
I will give a talk next Wednesday on a recent work of mine with Clément Mouhot (Cambridge). The title is « A non-linear model from kinetic theory ».
In this talk, a simple non-linear model coming from kinetic theory is considered. We will see that the global well-posedness derives from the recent Holder estimates obtained by F. Golse, C. Mouhot, A. Vasseur and the speaker for kinetic Fokker-Planck equations with rough coefficients.
